A2O Cycle Tours become “Not a Rail Trail”

After relocation to Queenstown 2 years ago, the team at Helibike.com have rebranded their cycle trail businesses, including A2O Cycle Tours, into Not a Rail Trail, with the tag line “Cycle Trail Tours from Queenstown.” Why, Not a Rail Trail? Quite simple really! A Rail Trail follows an old railway line, so, by it design, it tends to be flat and straight. A Cycle Trail, however, is designed to follow the contours of the land, up, down and around. Flat and straight is boring, (and painful on the butt to sit in one position for long periods of time) so we only want to take our customers on interesting and varied trails, the sort we love to ride. Cosequently, although tongue in cheek, the name accurately describes who we are!

There a 2 new trails that opened near Queenstown at the beginning of the summer so, after a few months of testing tour options on these new cycle trails, we’ve nailed some really sweet trip options to complement the week long Alps 2 Ocean tour.
