New Cycle Tour Dates Announced for 2014/15

With the increasing success of the Alps 2 Ocean Cycle trail, we’re pleased to announce confirmed dates for our A2O Experience for the 2014/15 season with at least one cycle tour departing every month except December. Although this trail is ridable all year round, we are only operating scheduled tours from October to May.

We’re often asked to run tours over the Christmas and New Year periods. From our experience living in this region, not only is accommodation difficult to get but the roads and trails are busy, the roads around the lakes, in particular, are crowded with boats, caravans and trailers, not the safest time to be riding a bike. As a consequence, we will run tours up to the 3rd week of December and from the 3rd week of January.

The winters in the Mackenzie District can be stunning, with cold, crisp, clear days. They can also be bitterly cold and foggy so we agree that the warmer months are the best times to ride. If you want to ride the trail as a group, please let us know and we’ll arrange any dates to suit you, except for Christmas and New Year!
